I bought my first 35mm SLR camera in the 8th grade and I've been taking pictures ever since. After attending graduate school for photojournalism at Boston University, I finally began shooting professionally. I remain grateful to have the opportunity to shoot for a variety of clients, including publishers, universities, small businesses, entertainment companies, artists, musicians, advertising agencies and private individuals.

In 1997, I moved West to California to pursue my dream of photographing wildlife, particularly wildflowers, insects and decaying urban environments. Along the way, I have also been involved in a number of internet startups and have provided web consulting services for many clients.

I see my work, particularly my wildlife photography, as one of the greatest creative opportunities because it brings the beauty of nature's vast variety of flora into a person's home, regardless of the season or their geographic location. Where my urban work is concerned, I love the contrast it offers me professionally, where I am on a constant search for hidden beauty in the grittiness of cities, particularly Los Angeles.

I truly hope my work brings you inspiration and joy for many years to come.
